Provost Glynis Campbell Sinclair
An elected Member of The Highland Council since 2007.
I am presently strategic Chair of Housing & Property Committee, Provost of Inverness and a member of the Corporate Resources Committee.
Proudly Inverness born and bred, I was educated at Coronation Park School, Merkinch Primary School and Inverness High School. Further education at University of the Highlands and Islands was in BSc Rural Development.

Depute Provost Councillor Jackie Hendry
Jackie grew up in Kent and Cambridgeshire and worked and lived in London, until she moved up to the Highlands with her husband, Drew, and children, in 2003.
Jackie has worked for retail head offices and started her own businesses with a mobile creche in London and a coffee shop on the Black Isle. Jackie currently works at teclan Ltd, a digital marketing company. Jackie was elected as a Councillor for Inverness Ness-side ward in 2022 and was delighted to be elected as one of the Depute Provosts for the Inverness City Area.
Since being Depute Provost Jackie has met many wonderful people from different organisations and within the community, and feels the Town House is the perfect place to acknowledge the hard work with volunteering that people in the area have achieved. Jackie likes running, walking her dogs and spending time with her family.

Depute Provost Councillor Morven Reid
Morven was born and brought up on the West Coast in the village of Glenelg and moved to Inverness in 1993. She lives in Culloden and was delighted to become the elected member for Culloden & Ardersier in May 2022, followed by the honour of being elected to the role of Depute Provost of Inverness City and Area. Morven is currently a member of the Education Committee, Health, Wellbeing & Social Work Committee, South Planning Application Committee and the Redesign Board.
She is a registered childminder specialising in working with children with additional and complex health needs. She opened her childcare business in 2006 following the birth of her first child and went on to achieve the Childhood Practice BSc through UHI Inverness. Previously Morven was Operations Manager at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC and Commercial Manager at Ross County FC, following a period of time as a recruitment consultant.
Morven is the former President of the Highland Business Woman’s Club and Chair of both Balloch Community Association Trust and Inverness Musical Theatre.
She is married with two step-children, three children, and two grandchildren.
