Meetings and Corporate Events
Centrally located for convenience, the Town House offers historic grandeur and atmosphere making it the perfect venue to hold your event.
We have a choice of fully equipped meeting rooms that can accommodate both large- and small-scale meetings and conferences, seating between 12 and 180 attendees.
The Hall
The Hall is available for private lets and can be set up in a variety of ways to accommodate your requirements.
Capacity: 180 Standing, 119 seated in a theatre style.
The Chamber
The Chamber is our biggest most prestigious meeting room, it can seat up to 22 people around the main table with a further 20 seats around the outside.
The Mackenzie Room
The Mackenzie Room seats up to 14 around the table.
This room may also be hired out for intimate dinner parties and drinks receptions.
The Members' Lounge

Traditionally The Members' Lounge was the room where elected Members could relax in between meetings. Now available for hire, it is our most versatile room and can be set up in numerous different ways to accommodate your booking. Theatre style it seats 24, boardroom 16.
The MacDonald Room
The MacDonald Room can sit up to 12 around the main table and a further 4 around the smaller table.
The MacKintosh Room
The MacKintosh Room can sit up to 8 people and can also be set up as a classroom.
The Cameron Room
The Cameron Room can sit up to 10 people and can also be set up as a classroom.
The Campbell Room
The Campbell Room can sit up to 8 people
The MacLennan Room

The MacLennan Room has the potential to be one of our most dynamic rooms that has excellent IT capabilities with good space and set up options.
The Ross Room
The Ross Room can sit up to 6 seated around the table.

About Our Rooms
All rooms are chargeable by the hour including set up and clear down.
Different rates apply outside of Monday – Friday 9-5pm. Please note out-of hours pricing on the website is for guidance only.
Charge includes
- Room inc staff/set up and clear away and facilities
- IT/ Projectors/ TV Screens/ WIFI and PA
We can offer light refreshments i.e., Tea & Coffee and Biscuits at an additional cost per person.
Catering can be arranged privately; we have a list of caterers we use for all our catering requirements at the Town House. Please contact us for further details.
